Can a dog find a Diamond?
Apparently they can! According to Our customer, Sue.
“You would not believe what happened!” Sue told me one day!
Four years ago I lost my diamonds from my engagement ring. I looked everywhere that I had last remembered seeing it! I was devastated! Many thoughts went through my mind. Where could it be! It has to be here somewhere! I should have had it checked each year. I should have gone in o Douglas Diamonds for my free check & cleaning.
Finally I resigned myself to the fact, I had lost my Diamond. I had lost the Diamond my husband used to propose to me. I went into Douglas Diamonds and got a beautiful replacement; we also decided that it was a good time to get a larger stone since we had been married for ten years now. My new Diamond is beautiful!
Forward fast two years when we decided to get a Boxer puppy! One day Jim, my husband, was playing with our then two year old puppy who liked to wrestle and play catch. In their play Jim heard something hit the floor! Oh no! I knocked the dog’s tooth out, Jim thought, that is terrible!
Looking on the ground for the dog’s tooth, you won’t believe what we found! The lost Diamond!! The dog’s tooth did not fall out at all! The dog, having A large Jowell and a sobery face had somehow picked up the Diamond from wherever he had put his face!
Where did he find it? The vacuum had been run many times on the floor, So had the mop! The kids had run in and out of the house multiple times and yet that Diamond stayed safe in an unknown place until our dog, Bruce, with the sober face just happened to pick it up! Bruce is one of the only Diamond Sniffing Dogs I know!
